Tall vertical forms fill every sheet, packed side by side like towers in a dense city, or a stand of trunks. Each is made of short horizontal lines stacked close: where they bunch, the ink darkens; where they thin, the paper shows. The edges fray.
A pen plotter draws them. The plotter's limits on line weight, speed and paper are part of the method, and they prove almost freeing. Once plotted, a line cannot be undone.
The city here is a battleground, where individuality and conformity, nature and technology, press against each other. No two towers rise or fray the same way, and the forms never settle into either building or tree. The series treats that tension as the force that will shape what comes next.
